Stine Prøitz Jørgensen is a Norwegian artist, living and working in Oslo, Norway. She studied for her BA in retail design graduating in 2014. Her interest in recording the ways we navigate our surroundings brought her on to photography. In her research based work Stine examines the anatomy of variants of structures including biological ones, via the image as structured file, content and representation. With this she is working with ways functions and malfunctions in structural compositions and processes blend, both in approach and subjects. She is interested in the interaction and relationship between constructed, or technological, and organic structures, and the question of wether photography is able to convey this. Her work has been exhibited at group exhibitions including Åpen Kunsthall at Kunsthall Oslo and it has been featured in magazines such as Der Greif. She has studied at Bilder Nordic School of Photography in Oslo.
