Stine Prøitz Jørgensen is a Norwegian artist, living and working in Oslo, Norway. She studied for her BA in retail design graduating in 2014. Her interest in recording the ways we navigate our surroundings brought her on to photography. Based on the idea that the structure of perception will never reflect the structure of reality, Stine is focused on notions of structures in her work, via the image as structured file, content and representation. With this she is working with ways functions and malfunctions in structural compositions and processes blend, both in approach and subjects. She is interested in the interaction and relationship between constructed and organic structures, and the role of science and our progressive methods. Her work has been exhibited at group exhibitions including Åpen Kunsthall at Kunsthall Oslo and it has been featured on platforms such as Der Greif. She has studied at Bilder Nordic School of Photography in Oslo.
